The Large Tin
It arrives empty, and that is deliberate.
Fill it, empty it, fill it again. This is the one that stays put. It sits by the bed, on the kitchen windowsill, next to the sink where hands get washed eleven times a day and start to crack by mid-winter. Big enough that you use as much as your skin needs instead of a careful fingertip.
Raw Shea butter works when you actually use it, not when you save it for a special occasion that never quite arrives.
Aluminium with a screw lid, so it does not crack, and does not need replacing. Scoop from your 450 g | 16 oz pouch or 2.25 kg | 5 lb box, top it up when it runs low, and this tin will outlast most things in the room.
Capacity: 120 ml | 4 oz
Size: 7.5 cm | 3 in wide, 2.5 cm | 1 in tall
Material: aluminium, screw lid
Contents: none, this is the container only
The little tin travels. This one holds the fort at home. Plenty of people keep both.
And no, we still do not sell Shea butter in jars. It travels a long way from Africa to reach you, and glass and heat and distance are unkind to raw butter in ways a pouch is not. So it ships the way it keeps best, and you decide what it lives in once it arrives.
Capacity: 120 ml | 4 fl oz
Material: Food-grade aluminium with a screw lid
Contents: None. This is the container only.
Meant to travel alongside your butter rather than on its own.
