Why Everyone Swears by Shea Butter
For centuries, people across Africa and beyond have turned to Shea butter to keep their skin soft, strong, and glowing, through dry seasons, dusty winds, blazing sun, and yes, even the coldest winter chills.
From newborn babies to grandparents, this butter has been used to calm the look of dry, tight, easily irritated skin, and to look after chapped lips, stretch marks, and dry patches.
- Bald heads to big, beautiful hair
- Post-shave care and razor bump comfort
- Rough elbows, knees, and heels
- Wind-burned cheeks and chapped lips
- Stretch marks and dry skin patches
- Sensitive baby skin

How to Store Raw Shea Butter
Our Shea butter travels all the way from Africa in a lightweight pouch. Plenty of people scoop straight from it and never think about it again. If you would rather keep something on the shelf, decant a working amount into any jar you already have at home. Or add one of our empty metal tins, or the African original, a calabash bowl. Completely optional. The pouch does the job on its own.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Unrefined Shea butter hardens in the fridge and softens in heat, room temperature keeps it at the perfect, easy-to-use consistency. Full storage guide here →
Heads-up: some countries charge customs or import fees on arrival. That depends on your local rules rather than on us.
