Ingredients
- 1 cup raw Shea butter

- An immersion blender, or a regular mixer
Let's Get Whipping
Soften up (optional). If your Shea butter is very firm and you are using a regular mixer, soften it slightly in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, the double boiler method, until it gives without fully melting. With an immersion blender you can skip this step.
Combine. Put the softened Shea butter in a mixing bowl. Add the carrot oil, and the Baobab oil if you are using it.
Whip it. Blend until light, fluffy and fully combined. This takes a few minutes. Be patient, the texture changes all at once near the end.
Add essential oils and mica. Once whipped, add 10 to 15 drops of essential oil and the mica powder for shimmer. Blend briefly to incorporate.
Scoop and store. Transfer into a clean, airtight container. Keep it somewhere cool and dry and it is ready whenever your skin wants it.
